The Tallebudgera Surf Club Upgrades, delivered in partnership with SHAPE, modernised and expanded one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic community surf clubs. The project enhanced the club’s facilities to better serve members, volunteers, and the wider community, while preserving its role as a vital hub for surf lifesaving and social activity.

The upgrades delivered improvements to amenities, food and beverage facilities, and back-of-house services, supported by essential infrastructure works.

The redevelopment improved functionality, accessibility, and capacity, ensuring the surf club can continue to serve as both a lifesaving base and a vibrant community destination.

Timeline:
Construction commenced in 2024 and was successfully completed in 2025, with staged works delivered to minimise disruption to ongoing club operations.

Economic/Community Impact:
The project supported local employment during delivery and strengthened the Tallebudgera community by upgrading an essential piece of social and sporting infrastructure. It has enhanced the visitor experience, attracted new members, and secured the club’s role as a cornerstone of the local community.

Borderline Plumbing successfully completed the hydraulic works package only for the Tallebudgera Surf Club Upgrades. Our scope included full hydraulic services to support new and refurbished amenities, ensuring the upgraded facilities operate with reliable, safe, and compliant systems.
